About Us

My name is Heather Medicus and I am the artist behind Four Moons Photography and Digital Design. FMP was created in the Fall of 2008, lets just say it is a minor attraction on my journey to finding my bliss. While this is a freelance company, my future goals are to convert FMP into being completely non-profit.

Every part of this site is a representation of me, from the color scheme, to the graphics, to the imagery of choice, everything has a meaning to me. Whether it is the silent "I Love You" to my husband, in my banner choice, to the calla lilies you can see to your right that represent the children we hope to have some day, everything within this site is symbolic, somehow.

Art has touched my life in may ways throughout my 32 years. Whether it is painting, writing, music, ceramics, photography, or graphics, I tend to be at my best when I am expressing myself through art. While I have many years of experience with photography and web graphics, I am working on honing my skills since my graduation from from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in December of 2009.

My camera of choice is a Canon Powershot S5-1S. Programs of choice are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I am proficient with InDesign and I am doing my best to master Dreamweaver. This site is a culmination of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
